Our Practice

The Deveron Dental Centre is Huntly’s first fully committed, NHS dental practice.  We differ from most other practices in the area as we only register NHS patients.  We pride ourselves in offering our patients the very best standard of dental care, within a state of the art facility but without having to pay expensive private dental fees.  We are passionate about providing first class family NHS dental care within a relaxing, comfortable and friendly environment.

Our dentists have gained an excellent reputation across Aberdeenshire, and our patients who travel from all over to visit us.  You don’t have to live in Huntly to register as a patient at our practice.  We have patients that are willing to travel all the way from Keith, Banff, Insch, Dufftown, Macduff, Buckie, Inverurie and Elgin to see us, because they have heard such good things about our practice!

Our premises and surgeries are fully accessible to wheelchairs and there is a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities available.  We have an induction loop for those who are hard of hearing.

Our waiting room is spacious and has a child’s seating area.  We have a flat screen TV displaying dental information.

Several local artists have kindly agreed to display their beautiful artwork to brighten up our waiting area.  All of these pieces are available for sale.  For further information, please email the practice or speak to Morven.

Our surgeries are all decorated in cheerful but calming colours.  Each room is equipped with a digital X-ray system, which is safer for our patients as it gives off a minimum dose of radiation.  All of our surgeries have access for wheelchair users.

We have a dedicated room, equipped with state of the art equipment for sterilising our dental instruments.  We have extremely high standards of cross infection control at the practice and we ensure that all members of staff attend regular training programmes in order to maintain these high standards.

Our dental nurses have all undertaken additional training to become Cleanliness Champions, which recognises their commitment to ensuring their cross infection control is of the highest standard at all times.

We have no waiting list to register with the practice as an NHS patient. If you have a dental emergency, we will do our very best to see you with 24 hours, even if you are not a registered patient.
